On 20 October, SIPRI, together with the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, organized a side event at the 78th session of the First Committee of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.

Research findings were presented and discussed during the conference.

SIPRI presents regional cooperation findings to ECOWAS

Recently, SIPRI’s work on climate-related security risks in West Africa was presented and discussed at a high-level conference in Abuja, Nigeria. The conference was held on 13 September and hosted by SIPRI’s partner, Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung (FES) Nigeria.
